Breaking the Cycle Before it Begins

Our Mission

SoftPaw Foundation exists to reduce cat overpopulation through prevention, rescue, veterinary care, and responsible adoption.

We work to break the cycle before it reaches shelters by partnering with farmers, property owners, and community members to provide spay and neuter support for unplanned litters and outdoor cat populations. When kittens are born into situations where they may otherwise be sold, abandoned, or left without care, we step in to provide medical treatment, socialization, and a safe path to adoption.

Through education, community partnerships, and hands-on rescue efforts, we strive to create a future where fewer cats suffer from neglect, fewer kittens enter overcrowded rescue systems, and every cat has the opportunity to live a healthy, cared-for life.

We step in when cats and kittens are facing uncertain futures, providing them with safety, care, and a second chance at life. Whether they come from unplanned litters, outdoor colonies, or situations where resources are limited, we work to ensure every cat receives the support they need to begin their journey toward a better future.

Rescue

Prevention is at the heart of our mission. By supporting spay and neuter initiatives, building relationships within our community, and addressing overpopulation at its source, we work to reduce the number of cats and kittens entering the cycle of homelessness, neglect, and overcrowded shelters. Creating lasting change starts before the crisis begins.

Prevent

Every cat deserves a loving, permanent home. Through responsible adoption practices, we carefully prepare and match cats and kittens with families who are committed to providing lifelong care. Our goal is not only to find homes, but to create successful, lasting placements where both cats and adopters can thrive together.

We Need Your Support!

Too often, kittens are born into situations where they lack access to medical care, proper nutrition, or a secure future. By the time many of these cats reach shelters and rescues, the cycle has already repeated itself.
Your support allows us to intervene early - providing spay and neuter assistance, emergency veterinary care, vaccinations, food, supplies, and safe placement for vulnerable cats and kittens. Every donation helps prevent future suffering while giving cats in need the opportunity to thrive.
Together, we can create a future with fewer homeless cats, fewer unwanted litters, and more lives saved. Thank you for being part of that change.
